Job Purpose

This is a position for the Operational Excellence team in Brazil employee to liaise with the UWL do Brazil office and UWL Inc. office. This person will be responsible for coordinating the US operations in Brazil, by supporting the team’s activities, developing the staff and providing the customers with better solution for their logistical needs, aiming for customer satisfaction and services agility for UWL, Inc.

Duties and Responsibilities

         New hire training – introduction to the organization, introduction to the company’s working tools and introduction to SOP’s.

         Track and manage employees working hours, as well as absences and PTOs/vacations, communicating to HR and leader accordingly.

         Track and manage employee’s workflow, activities and daily tasks, balancing the team’s work volume.

         Leads Quarterly Review meetings, as well as follow ups meetings with the team members according to the team’s Calendar.

         Escalation point for team on any process issues/question – report and involve direct leader when appropriate;

         Construct the technical business asks/requests for the submission to the Business Process Coordinator.

         Maintains the centralized resources/materials:  Updates and catalogs training materials/manuals and redistributes as needed.

         Perform required monthly file audits of all services under the helm to ensure required process and documentation are being followed.

         Review monthly DIM KPI performance report and identify where improvements need to be made with team(s).

         Fosters a climate of compliance; this includes internal policies and procedures and external government regulations or customer policies/requirements.

         Continual processes improvement.

         Problem solving support to the team.

         Identify additional training necessary based on employee performance.

         Audit working files and reports.

         Direct support to the Supervisor when necessary.

Hard Skills

  • Fluent English
  • Vision for goals and objectives
  • Minimum of 3 years in the industry
  • Computer knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge on Operational process of Imports and Exports processes
  • Ability on training new-hires and new processes
  • Ability to give and receive feedback
  • Handling project assignments

Education

Graduated at university courses related to Foreign Trade, International Relations or Logistics.

Working Conditions
