Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting function and support the transition of the company's accounting processes from an outsourced provider to an in-house operation. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements, improve internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of the accounting function from an outsourced firm to an in-house accounting team.
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation.
- Support ERP optimization and accounting system improvements.
- Partner with other business areas to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare management reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 5–6 years of accounting experience, preferably with experience in a senior accounting role.
- Experience managing or participating in the transition of accounting processes from outsourced to in-house is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Good communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the ability to interact with international stakeholders.
- CRC certification.
