As SourceHub, we are responsible for delivering Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement and Supply Chain, Legal and Compliance, and general administrative services with efficiency and quality.
We are looking for a Senior Monitoring Analyst to play both a strategic and operational role in supporting and evolving technology environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability of corporate systems. This professional will be responsible for implementing and enhancing monitoring, observability, and proactive incident response practices, contributing to operational excellence in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, or related fields.
- Fluent English, with the ability to participate in daily meetings and prepare reports for the U.S. headquarters.
- Solid experience in infrastructure monitoring, observability, and IT operations.
- Experience working in NOC (Network Operations Center) environments or other critical technology operations.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and log management tools.
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions for monitoring applications and services.
- Knowledge of server infrastructure, operating systems, databases, and enterprise networking.
- Strong analytical skills for investigating and resolving complex issues in high-availability environments.
- Experience creating and managing dashboards, operational metrics, and automated alerts.
- Experience in dynamic environments with multiple demands and a strong focus on operational continuity.
- Develop and implement monitoring and observability strategies for infrastructure environments, applications, and critical services, ensuring full visibility across IT environments.
- Configure, administer, and optimize monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms for the proactive identification of incidents and service degradations.
- Continuously monitor the availability, performance, and capacity of servers, operating systems, databases, networks, and connected devices.
- Analyze and investigate events, incidents, and problems, identifying root causes and proposing corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure observability and monitoring of applications, APIs, and integrations through Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
- Track performance, availability, and utilization metrics, supporting data-driven decisions and operational trend analysis.
- Develop management and operational reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement of IT processes.
- Monitor the health and security of database environments, including resource utilization, storage capacity, and access controls.
- Ensure network infrastructure availability and performance by analyzing connectivity, latency, and bandwidth utilization metrics.
- Support technology transformation, automation, and observability enhancement initiatives, promoting greater operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, Security, and Operations teams to improve service reliability and stability.
- Propose continuous improvements to monitoring processes, tools, and metrics, aligned with industry best practices.
- Employment under CLT regime (Brazil).
