Responsabilidades e atribuições
You must participate on the management of library processes/services using library science techniques and support initiatives aimed at fostering the development of critical readers and well-rounded citizens. Thus, you'll assist the librarian in the following responsibilities:Organize and catalog collections
Provide assistance and guide users on library operations
Contribute to the development of reading programs and cultural events, promoting the importance of reading and the benefits of information use
Ensure the preservation of collections
Process collections using library science techniques
Research and propose new interactive media to stimulate interest in reading
Manage the collection system
Conduct inventory of the collection according to defined periodicity
Monitor loans, inform students and teachers about the need for returns, and request assistance from the administration for collection, if necessary and according to school policy
Organize collections by age group
Perform other related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Requisitos e qualificações
Education: Bachelor's degree in Library Science in progress
Languages: Proficiency in English (English level: B1 or higher)Soft Skills and Values:Digital Thinking
